BTS’s Suga Returns to Instagram After 2 Years—Fans Lose It!

Date:

BTS’s Suga surprised fans with his first Instagram post in over two years, marking his return to social media after a lengthy hiatus. The rapper’s previous post—a collaboration with the NBA—was shared in August 2023, just a month before he enlisted for military service. His unexpected comeback quickly drew global attention from fans eager to see what the K-pop star has been up to during his time away.

On Monday, September 22, fans were stunned when @augustd, Suga’s Instagram handle, shared new photos for the first time since his enlistment. The post began with a mysterious image featuring a simple silhouette cast on a concrete wall, followed by shots of Suga playing guitar in an empty warehouse, surrounded by scattered supplies. Some of the photos were in black and white, with the BTS member standing in the center holding his guitar. The post came without a caption, and comments were disabled, leaving fans both excited and curious.

Since his last post in 2023, Suga enlisted for military service and stayed off Instagram throughout. Even after his discharge earlier this year, he remained relatively inactive on social media compared to his bandmates, making only one appearance during the first OT7 live event.

Fans flooded social media with reactions to his return. On X, one user wrote, “MY YOONGI WELCOME HMEEE,” accompanied by crying emojis. Others commented, “the boy everyone misses,” “YOONGI PLAYING GUITAR OMG HE HAS AN UNDERCUT OMG OMG OMG,” and “HE’S LOOKING SO HOT I’M CRYINGGGGG I CAN’T BELIEVE WE GOT AN AGUSTD UPDATE.” The post sparked excitement worldwide, with fans calling the comeback “insane” and celebrating Suga’s long-awaited return.
