Immigration authorities are investigating allegations that male dancers detained at an entertainment centre in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, last week may have offered “additional services” involving male-to-male encounters outside the premises.
Immigration Department director-general Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said initial investigations found that the entertainment centre catered exclusively to male customers, with a charge of RM780 per table.
Customers inside the premises were reportedly entertained by male dancers, involving both Malaysian and foreign nationals.
Four foreign men detained during the operation comprised three Chinese nationals and one Filipino, aged between 21 and 31. They have been remanded for 14 days to assist with further investigations.
Zakaria said authorities were not ruling out the possibility that arrangements for the alleged “additional services” were made between the dancers and customers outside the entertainment centre.
“We believe there were offers for ‘additional services’ involving male-to-male encounters,” he said.
The Immigration Department will share its investigation findings with the D7 division of the Royal Malaysia Police Criminal Investigation Department for further action.
The operation, carried out with the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), began at 12.05am and uncovered activities at the entertainment centre, which reportedly featured dance performances by male individuals.
All four foreign nationals are being investigated under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
Immigration authorities said the entertainment centre had been operating since last year and targeted both local and foreign customers from around the Klang Valley.
