KUALA LUMPUR – Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) will broadcast the 2026 Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix live, giving Malaysian fans the chance to watch the race from home.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the broadcast, saying he hoped Malaysians across the country would be able to share in the excitement of the world-class race.
“Good news for all Malaysians! RTM will broadcast the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026 live so that everyone can enjoy the excitement of the race together,” he said in a social media post today.
Anwar said the live broadcast would allow Malaysians from all over the country to experience the thrill of the race from the Sepang International Circuit.
The announcement comes as Malaysia prepares to host the F1 event, with fans set to follow the action through RTM’s live coverage.
