Two young boys were allegedly caught entering a residential property in Kampung Delek, Sungai Udang, Klang, in what the homeowner suspects was an attempt to steal belongings.
The incident was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV) at 2.46am on Friday, with the homeowner later sharing the footage on Threads.
In the post, the homeowner claimed the boys had previously entered the back of the house and were suspected of taking items.
Addressing residents of Klang, particularly those in Kampung Delek, Sungai Udang and neighbouring areas, the homeowner urged anyone who recognised the boys to come forward.
The post drew numerous responses from other Threads users, including a woman who claimed the boys were her pupils.
She alleged that one of the boys had not returned home for a long time and had been absent from school for an extended period.
“He is my pupil. He has been missing from home for a long time and has not been attending school. He has been caned many times, so it is hardly surprising. It is as if he no longer feels pain,” she commented.
The woman added that the boy was in Year Six this year and still had parents, but they were allegedly unable to control his behaviour. She also claimed he frequently stayed away from home and wandered between mosques, with his last reported whereabouts being at a mosque in Rantau Panjang, where he was said to have been moving around with friends.
Another Threads user alleged that the boys were part of a group of children in the village who sold items before using the money to customise their bicycles.
Other users urged the homeowner to lodge a police report, with one calling on the authorities to intervene before the alleged behaviour became habitual.
The allegations have not been independently verified.
