Family Of Four Forced To Live In Car Outside KL Mosque For 2 Years

Date:

A family of four has been living inside their car for the past two years, using the grounds of Masjid Amru Al-As in Bandar Baru Sentul as their only shelter after relocating from Temerloh, Pahang.

The plight of the couple and their two children, who are pupils at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Sri Perak, was recently highlighted by Federal Territories UMNO Information Chief, Datuk Gulam Muszaffar Gulam Mustakim.

According to him, the family has been depending entirely on their old vehicle as a makeshift “home” while struggling to make ends meet.

“UMNO Batu immediately took steps by reaching out to the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) to provide urgent assistance,” Gulam Muszaffar said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

He emphasized that the move reflects UMNO’s ongoing commitment to protecting the welfare of the people.

“UMNO Batu will strive to secure a transit home for this family and assist them in finding a rental house so they can live more comfortably,” he added.
