An elderly husband and wife were found dead at their home in Desa Lang Indah this morning.
Security guard Rajendren Manikam, 65, said the couple usually kept in touch with him through WhatsApp and were often seen walking together around the neighborhood.
“They would normally send me messages via WhatsApp, but the last time I heard from them was last Friday around 8.15 a.m. After that, there was no contact. I only found out about this incident when the police came to ask me about their house,” he said when met yesterday.
Rajendren described the couple as kind neighbors who would always greet others and often exchanged food with him.
Police who arrived at the scene discovered the couple lifeless inside the house. Their bodies were sent to Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun for post-mortem.
So far, police are still investigating and have yet to release an official statement on the cause of their deaths.
