Sabah Chief Minister Meets Governor to Dissolve 16th Sabah State Assembly

Sabah Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor, held a meeting with the Governor of Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, on Monday.

Hajiji’s vehicle arrived at Istana Seri Kinabalu at approximately 8:51 a.m.

According to Astro Awani, the meeting was reportedly aimed at seeking approval for the dissolution of the 16th Sabah State Legislative Assembly (DUN).

The Sabah State Legislative Assembly is set to automatically dissolve on 11 November, in accordance with the provisions of the State Constitution.

Speaker of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, Datuk Seri Kadzim M. Yahya, had previously made a statement to this effect during a press conference at the assembly in August.
