A father and his two sons were charged today at the Sessions Court here for allegedly committing sexual abuse against their two daughters last year up until September.
The 65-year-old father and his sons, aged 24 and 33, faced separate charges but pleaded not guilty and requested to be tried when the charges were read before Judge Zulkifli Abllah.
The father faces two charges, while each of his sons is charged with one count.
According to the charges, the father allegedly sexually abused his two daughters, now aged 12 and 16, in the living room of a house in Pasir Puteh between 2 PM and 3 PM in July 2025.
Meanwhile, the two sons were charged with sexually abusing the same 16-year-old daughter in the living room of the same house on separate occasions—mid-year last year and on 19 September—between 12:15 AM and 12:30 AM.
All three defendants are charged under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 792, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment and whipping.
The prosecution was conducted by Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Hajar Mazlan, while the defendants were represented by lawyer Nik Mohamad Naqib Mohamad Noor.
No bail was offered as the case is non-bailable. The court set 6 November for the next mention of the case.
