The excise duty rates on tobacco products will be increased gradually starting November 1, 2025:
- Cigarettes: Increased by 2 sen per stick
- Cigars, cheroots, and cigarillos: Increased by RM40 per kilogram
- Heated tobacco products: Increased by RM20 per kilogram of tobacco content
