14-Year-Old Stabbing Case: Teen Brought To Court For Remand Today

A 14-year-old boy suspected of fatally stabbing his 16-year-old schoolmate is expected to be brought to court today for a remand application.

Police are scheduled to take the suspect to the Petaling Jaya Court Complex at 9 a.m. as investigations continue into the murder that occurred yesterday at a school in Bandar Utama.

The tragic incident happened around 9:30 a.m., when the female student was reportedly stabbed multiple times. Initial examinations revealed that the victim had several stab wounds on her body.

Authorities also seized two sharp weapons believed to have been used in the attack.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of Education, Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad, said yesterday that the Ministry of Education is intensifying efforts to strengthen safety measures across schools.
