Woman High on Sleeping Pills Crashes Into 14 Vehicles

A shocking chain-reaction crash occurred yesterday (19th) on Zhonghua Road in Puli, Nantou, when a woman surnamed Song collided with 14 vehicles, including cars and motorcycles. Witnesses reported that she swerved dangerously along the road and even attempted to speed away from the scene. Fortunately, police arrived promptly and were able to intercept and arrest her. The driver later claimed that she had taken sleeping pills, which left her drowsy and impaired, leading to the series of accidents.
