Malaysia Set To Test Tsunami Warning Sirens, Lahad Datu Residents Told Not To Panic

MET Malaysia will conduct a test of the Malaysian Tsunami Early Warning System (SAATNM) sirens on 21 October 2025, Tuesday, at the FAMA District Office in Lahad Datu, Sabah, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Residents in the surrounding area are advised not to panic upon hearing the siren, as this is only a test. MET Malaysia will provide updates if there are any changes to the schedule.
