19-Year-Old Woman Killed After E-Hailing Car Crashes Into Divider In Puchong

Date:

A 19-year-old woman was killed, while another passenger and an e-hailing driver were injured after their vehicle skidded and crashed into a metal road divider at Jalan Puchong Batu 14 last night.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, said a fire engine from the Puchong Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Puchong) was dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call at 10.15 p.m.

“The operations commander reported that the accident involved a Perodua Bezza, believed to be driven by an e-hailing driver who lost control and crashed into the road divider,” he said in a statement today.

“There were three victims — a 49-year-old male driver, a 21-year-old male passenger, and a 19-year-old female passenger,” he added.

Both male victims sustained injuries, while the 19-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
