Britney Spears has deleted her Instagram account following a series of concerning posts and renewed public tension with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
As of November 2, the 43-year-old pop icon’s profile was no longer available, with a message saying the account “may have been removed.”
In recent weeks, fans expressed concern over Spears’ dancing videos and cryptic captions referencing her sons, Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston, 20. The singer also posted photos showing bruises and bandaged hands, explaining she had fallen down stairs, while reflecting on her sons’ return to Hawaii, where they live with Federline.
“I’m not here for concern or pity,” she wrote, adding that dance videos are how she expresses herself.
On October 19, Spears opened up about her past trauma, claiming she suffered “brain damage” after four months in rehab during her 13-year conservatorship. She compared her resilience to the character Maleficent, writing that “holy wings can’t be taken.”
Meanwhile, Federline’s upcoming memoir You Thought You Knew has reignited tensions, with excerpts alleging problems in their marriage and parenting. Spears fired back on social media, accusing Federline of “gaslighting” her and profiting off her pain.
Her representative told PEOPLE: “Kevin and others are profiting off her again. Britney only cares about her kids and their well-being.”
Spears’ fans have expressed concern about her mental health, while the singer continues to ask for privacy amid renewed scrutiny.
