At least 12 people have died and 10 others were injured in a bus crash in Simiatug, central Ecuador, authorities reported on Sunday. The disaster agency confirmed the fatalities on social media, while the attorney general’s office said the bus was operating an inter-provincial route between Simiatug and Ambato at the time of the accident.
