An ambulance en route to pick up a patient overturned after colliding with a sedan at a traffic light junction this afternoon.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), the incident was reported at 12:55 pm, and firefighters from Kota Samarahan were dispatched immediately.
“The incident involved an ambulance and a sedan. There were three individuals in the ambulance — the driver and two paramedics. All victims from both vehicles did not sustain any injuries,” the department said.
Firefighters safely extricated the ambulance occupants by opening the passenger door, allowing all three to exit using rescue ladders.
