Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT)’s iconic home ground, Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, will soon be transformed into a miniature Lego attraction at Legoland Malaysia Resort.
The new Miniland installation, which is scheduled to launch at the end of June, will feature a scaled-down Lego brick version of the stadium, famous for its futuristic design and modern architecture.
The collaboration between JDT and Legoland Malaysia is also expected to introduce football-themed interactive experiences inspired by the excitement and atmosphere of a live JDT matchday.
Legoland Malaysia vice-president C.S. Lim described JDT as a club that symbolises the pride, ambition and spirit of Johor.
“We are incredibly proud to collaborate on an experience that celebrates both football fandom and family play in a uniquely creative way,” he said during a sneak preview event.
Meanwhile, JDT chief operating officer Alistair Edwards said the miniature Lego stadium offers families and younger supporters a fresh way to experience the spirit of the football club outside the actual stadium environment.
Several JDT players were also present during the preview session, including Mohamadou Sumareh, Matthew Davies and La’Vere Corbin Ong.
Although the full Lego design has yet to be officially unveiled, early teasers suggest the attraction will closely replicate the distinctive appearance of Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, which has become one of Malaysia’s most recognisable football venues.
The latest collaboration is expected to strengthen Johor’s tourism appeal while combining football culture with family entertainment for both local and international visitors.
