Say Goodbye to Ants in Your Sugar Jar With Just One Kitchen Trick

Date:

For homemakers, dealing with ants invading sugar containers is a common headache. Often, it happens because family members forget to close the sugar jar properly after use.

Separating ants from the sugar can be tricky, even after leaving the container out in the sun all day. But there’s no need to stress or get frustrated over it.

Halina Agnes Jalut shares a simple kitchen hack that can get rid of ants in just 10 minutes. As shown in her video, ants quickly scurry out of the sugar container once garlic is added.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves of garlic

Steps:

  1. Transfer the sugar that has been invaded by ants into a large container.
  2. Place two peeled garlic cloves on top of the sugar.
  3. Wait for 10 minutes, and you’ll see the ants rapidly leaving the container.

This easy trick saves both time and sugar while keeping your kitchen ant-free.
