A security guard in Bukit Bintang has captured the internet’s attention after his small but meaningful act of kindness helped a motorcyclist who was short on cash for hotel parking.
The motorcyclist, Roslan Rusly, shared the touching encounter on Facebook, recalling how he found himself unable to pay the RM5 parking fee while attending an event in the area.
As he searched his wallet, the guard quietly stepped in and handed him a RM1 note.
“I said no at first, but he told me it’s okay… just one ringgit,” Roslan wrote.
Wanting to remember the moment, Roslan asked the guard for a selfie—something that appeared to surprise him. The guard told Roslan, “I’ve worked here a long time… no one ever wants a selfie.”
Roslan expressed his gratitude repeatedly, telling the unnamed hotel guard, “You are kind, you help people… thank you.”
His post, accompanied by a photo of the RM1 note in the parking machine, has since gone viral—reminding many that even the smallest gestures can leave a lasting impact.
