A Taiwanese netizen recently sparked an online discussion on Dcard after sharing that her intimate sessions with her boyfriend often last around two hours, including foreplay, with the main act alone taking about an hour. She wondered whether this duration is considered normal for couples.
In her post, she explained that she often feels exhausted afterward and used Dcard’s poll feature to gauge others’ experiences. Around 3,500 users participated: 26% said they had never experienced such long sessions, 47% reported under an hour, 18% said 1–2 hours, and 9% claimed their sessions also exceeded two hours, similar to hers.
Netizens quickly shared their own experiences. Some admitted their sessions only last about 10 minutes, or around 20 minutes including foreplay, leaving little energy for another round. Others said their main act usually lasts 30 minutes to under an hour, and some sensitive users can’t go beyond 5–10 minutes.
A few commented that overly long sessions can reduce enjoyment, suggesting breaks or pacing adjustments. Some speculated that sessions lasting an hour could indicate delayed ejaculation or intentional avoidance of sensitive areas.
The discussion highlighted the wide range of experiences among couples, with some admiring long-lasting stamina while others felt extended sessions might hinder overall enjoyment, sparking debate over what constitutes a “normal” duration for intimacy.
