Japanese illustrator “pen姉” recently went viral on social platform X (formerly Twitter) after posting an illustration that hilariously compares the stark differences between a real-life G-cup, men’s fantasy of a G-cup, and the exaggerated G-cup seen in anime. The post quickly sparked heated discussion online and even drew responses from women who actually wear G-cups.
In the illustration —
- Real-life G-cup: When clothed, it can look modest or even slightly flat from the side; once the bra is removed, cleavage isn’t always prominent, as bone structure and underbust measurements affect appearance, making it look smaller than most imagine.
- Men’s fantasy G-cup: Full and heavy, with naturally formed cleavage that’s visible without squeezing, often appearing about two cup sizes larger than reality.
- Exaggerated anime G-cup: Comically oversized — each side larger than a head, with extreme proportions, impossibly deep cleavage, and a gravity-defying look completely detached from real-life physics.
Netizens joked, “What men imagine as G-cup is actually J or K-cup,” “Even a real G-cup is still impressive,” and “Reality will always be smaller than the dream.” Many women with G-cups posted photos in agreement, saying, “This is exactly it!”
