Chinese influencer Zhang Chun, widely known as “Ni De Dukou,” has died at the age of 29. Her family confirmed the news on New Year’s Day.
According to reports, Zhang’s mother attributed her daughter’s death to a sudden cardiac condition. She added that Zhang often stayed up late and that her heart had not been in “very good condition.”
Zhang first gained online fame in 2018 for her fashion content, amassing over a million followers. She later branched out into music, appearing on a rap variety show in China and releasing her own songs.
In recent years, Zhang faced career challenges, including the failure of her fashion brand and mounting debts. Chinese media reported that she began producing adult content to manage some of these financial difficulties. She had also reportedly struggled with depression.
Zhang was cremated in Shanghai. Her death has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans online.
