Celine Dion Announces Grand Return: 10-Show Paris Residency Set For Fall 2026

Date:

Pop icon Celine Dion has officially announced her highly anticipated return to live performance, marking a triumphant milestone in her battle with stiff-person syndrome. On Monday, coinciding with her 58th birthday, the legendary vocalist revealed a five-week limited engagement titled “Celine Dion Paris 2026,” set to take place at the Paris La Défense Arena this autumn.

The Grammy-winning superstar will perform 10 shows from September 12 through October 14, her first concert series since disclosing her rare neurological diagnosis in 2022. Delivering an emotional video message from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Dion expressed profound gratitude to her global fanbase, stating she feels “strong” and “excited” to reunite with her audience.

“Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support,” Dion shared. “This year, I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris.”

The production is being developed alongside renowned creative director Willo Perron and is expected to showcase Dion’s peerless catalogue of hits in both English and French. The choice of venue is equally grand; the Paris La Défense Arena boasts a capacity of 40,000 spectators and served as a key site during the 2024 Paris Olympics—the same event where Dion made a breathtaking cameo performing atop the Eiffel Tower during the opening ceremony.

Dion’s return follows a difficult period that saw the cancellation of her Courage World Tour as her health condition progressed. However, with nearly 260 million albums sold and a legacy defined by power ballads like My Heart Will Go On, her comeback is being hailed as one of the most significant musical events of the year.

Fans eager to witness the icon’s return can register for the artist presale through April 2, with ticket access officially beginning on April 7. Given the limited nature of the engagement and Dion’s long absence from the stage, demand is expected to reach historic levels.
