Formed through the 2024 survival show Chuang Asia: Thailand—a regional spin-off of the Chuang and Produce series—the group consisted of nine members chosen from 70 trainees. Gen1es made their official debut in May 2024 under RYCE Entertainment.
In a message shared on social media, the group confirmed that they would disband earlier than the planned three-year contract, with all final activities set for February 6, 2026.
The statement read:
“To all our beloved fans who have supported Gen1es, thank you for your long-term support and love. After thorough communication and friendly consultation with the members, we officially announce that all activities under the name of Gen1es will end on February 6, 2026. Although the group’s activities are concluding, we hope everyone will continue to support QIAO YIYU, RUAN, PAILIU, YEAN, ELYN, WANG KE, XUEYAO, DIDI, and EMMA as they pursue their individual paths. We are incredibly grateful for the memories we’ve shared and look forward to seeing them shine in the future.”
Since their debut, Gen1es released two albums, with their most recent dropping in July 2025. Fans continue to celebrate the group’s achievements while wishing the members success in their future endeavors.
