Jackson Wang is set to make his highly anticipated return with his third studio album, Magic Man 2, scheduled to drop on July 18, 2025. But according to the artist himself, this album will mark the final chapter of his Magic Man journey.
In a recent interview with Allure, Jackson revealed that Magic Man 2 isn’t just another album — it’s a deeply personal project. “Every single song in Magic Man means something,” he shared, noting that the album reflects his thoughts on the music industry, humanity, his parents, and the people around him. Describing it as a form of self-reflection, Jackson said the record is like a diary — something he needed to express and let go of.
“This is something I have to get off my chest,” he said.
Once Magic Man 2 is released, Jackson shared that he plans to leave the Magic Man persona behind and return simply as Jackson Wang — free to explore any creative direction. He even joked about the possibilities: “I can make a song about cotton candy,” he laughed.
Fans can expect Magic Man 2 to be an emotional and introspective farewell, closing one chapter and opening another in Jackson Wang’s ever-evolving musical journey.
