Blackpink member Rosé, known for keeping her love life private, opened up about her past relationships during a rare appearance on the popular US podcast Call Her Daddy. She revealed that she once went to extreme lengths to avoid paparazzi, even disguising herself as an elderly woman for dates.
Rosé explained that she carefully studied older women’s clothing styles—from dresses and shoes to handbags—before purchasing identical outfits. She even bought a short black wig to complete the “grandma” look when visiting her then-boyfriend. “We couldn’t go anywhere freely, so this was the only way to move around without being seen,” she said with a laugh.
She added that she created an entire “grandma wardrobe” at home, consisting of light blue, floral-patterned dresses, which she maintained for about six months before eventually clearing it out.
Despite her superstar status, Rosé stressed that she is “just an ordinary person” who wants to experience love and a normal life. She also reflected on a past “toxic” relationship, admitting that she stayed with someone she knew wasn’t right at the time, simply because they cared for each other.
When asked about her current relationship status, Rosé candidly said she is “still looking for love.”
