Michelle Yeoh is set to make a special appearance as a presenter at the 2025 MAMA Awards, organizers announced on 11 November at a press conference held at CN ENM headquarters in western Seoul.
Lee Young-joo, programme director, said, “MAMA Awards has always pioneered new paths, and as K-pop has risen to the mainstream, Michelle Yeoh’s participation holds special significance.”
The awards will also feature a collaboration with Netflix’s hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters, spotlighting HUNTR/X and Saja Boys in a unique stage performance. Ma Doo-sik, chief producer, explained: “The iconic battle between Saja Boys and HUNTR/X will come to life on stage, creating a special performance that unites K-pop fans worldwide.”
The 2025 MAMA Awards will take place at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on 28–29 November and will be hosted by Park Bo-gum and Kim Hye-soo.
