A Thai actress and model, Christine Gulasatree Michalsky, has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a male rescuer while she was ill and unable to defend herself at her condominium.
The 30-year-old celebrity shared details of the incident on Instagram before speaking to local media outlet KhaoSod, where she described the distressing events that unfolded after she experienced breathing difficulties in the early hours of March 31 following the use of antihistamine medication.
According to her account, she contacted a friend during the medical emergency, who then arranged for emergency assistance. A male rescuer and a condominium security guard reportedly arrived at her unit to assist her condition.
She claimed that although she was conscious, she was weak, dizzy and unable to move properly. During this period, she alleged that she was left alone with the rescuer after police were initially unable to access the apartment due to building security procedures.
Christine further alleged that the rescuer sexually assaulted her inside the unit before police officers eventually arrived with the help of the building security guard. She also claimed the suspect attempted to conceal his actions by presenting the situation as routine medical assistance.
The actress stated that she was fully aware of what was happening but was physically unable to resist due to her condition at the time. She also said she feared further harm if she attempted to fight back.
In her social media statement, Christine stressed that the incident was not related to her clothing, adding that she had been dressed in a T-shirt and long trousers at the time. She also confirmed that she has lodged a police report and intends to pursue legal action, saying she believes the suspect may have been involved in similar behaviour previously.
Authorities are currently investigating the allegations as the case continues to draw public attention in Thailand.
