Under Belanjawan 2026 Malaysia MADANI, the government has reaffirmed its commitment to senior citizens by allocating RM1.26 billion for elderly welfare.
The funding aims to benefit around 180,000 senior citizens nationwide through a range of initiatives, including cash allowances (wang saku), socioeconomic support (bantuan sosioekonomi), and funding for activity centers (pusat aktiviti).
