Budget 2026: RM500 Million To Upgrade PPR Facilities — All Broken Lifts To Be Fixed By End Of 2025!

Under Budget 2026, the government is strengthening efforts to enhance public housing and hawker facilities for the people.

A total of RM500 million has been allocated through DBKL (Kuala Lumpur City Hall) to maintain and upgrade infrastructure, including facilities within People’s Housing Projects (PPR).

In addition, the government has committed to repair all damaged lifts in public housing units by the end of 2025, ensuring safer and more comfortable living conditions for residents. This initiative reflects the government’s ongoing mission to improve the quality of life and urban well-being under the Malaysia MADANI framework.
