10-Year-Old Boy Lifted And Thrown Into Concrete Drain Caught On CCTV

Date:

A 10-year-old boy reportedly lost consciousness after being lifted and violently slammed into a concrete drain by a man in an incident that has shocked residents in Wazirganj.

The incident, which was captured on closed-circuit television (CCTV), is said to have taken place on February 20, although the footage only recently went viral on social media.

According to reports, the child had just finished prayers at a nearby mosque before joining friends to play cricket in the area when the attack occurred.

In the footage, a 22-year-old local man is seen approaching the boy, grabbing him by the neck before lifting him and forcefully slamming him onto a concrete surface beside a drain. The child immediately collapsed and became unconscious, while the suspect was seen walking away without offering assistance.

Following the incident, the suspect’s uncle, identified as Rashid, allegedly took the boy home and told the family that the child had fainted after falling during play. The victim was later taken to hospital and advised to undergo specialist neurological treatment, with further examinations conducted at a private medical facility in Indiranagar.

However, other children present at the scene later told the victim’s family that the boy had in fact been deliberately lifted and slammed to the ground by the suspect.

A police report was subsequently lodged at Wazirganj Police Station, and authorities have since opened an investigation into the case.
