Thirteen people were taken to hospital following a traffic accident on Orchard Road on the morning of Jan. 28.
Footage shared on TikTok showed a lorry and a car on the pavement in front of the Apple store, with both vehicles sustaining damage to their bonnets. A public bench on the sidewalk was also knocked over. Police personnel were seen at the scene.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the incident at about 6:20am at the junction of Orchard Road and Orchard Link.
Six people were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, while seven others were conveyed to Singapore General Hospital. Five additional individuals, who suffered minor injuries, declined hospital treatment after assessment.
