14-Year-Old and 17-Year-Old Missing in Shah Alam After Leaving Home on Motorcycle

Date:

Two teenagers have gone missing after leaving home together, leaving their families deeply worried for their safety. Police reports were lodged on Wednesday (Jan 7) as authorities investigate the case.

Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ramsay Embol said the couple’s last known location was at Block 40, Taman Alam Megah. They were reportedly riding a Honda Wave motorcycle with registration number BRL 334 and carrying backpacks.

Initial investigations revealed that 14-year-old A. Jesitha and 17-year-old P. Shaswin left their respective homes in Section 33, Shah Alam, on Monday (Jan 5) at around 10.30am. Jesitha did not bring her handphone, while Shaswin brought his but has not been reachable.

Ramsay noted that Shaswin works at a courier hub near his home, and Jesitha is a secondary school student. Both families said the teenagers had no prior disputes and believe their disappearance may be linked to their romantic relationship.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on the couple’s whereabouts to contact Investigating Officer Inspector Mohamad Sabri Abd Rani at 017-2892628.
