According to reports from the New York Post and People, the suspect, identified as Jeanita Hopings, forced her way into the residence around the early hours of October 7. Police say she allegedly kicked open the front door and entered without permission. The homeowner, startled by the noise, came downstairs shirtless to investigate — only to be violently attacked.
