9-Year-Old Girl Molested Inside School Toilet By Security Guard & Boyfriend

Date:

A female security guard and her boyfriend have been arrested for allegedly molesting a nine-year-old primary school student inside a restroom at a school in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, last Tuesday.

The case came to light after the victim’s mother lodged a police report claiming her daughter, a Year Three student, had been raped while using the school restroom.

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief Datuk Alzafny Ahmad said both suspects were arrested in the Rembau district on Tuesday night following the report.

“At around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, a woman filed a police report alleging that her daughter, who attends a national primary school, was raped by a man while she was in the restroom around 9:30 a.m.,” he said when contacted today.

He said investigations led to the arrest of a 22-year-old woman, who works as a security guard at the school, and her 25-year-old boyfriend.

“The victim was taken to Hospital Tunku Jaafar (HTJ) in Seremban for further medical examination. Doctors found no signs of rape, but the case is now being investigated as an attempted rape,” he added.

Both suspects have been remanded for seven days, from October 8 to October 14, to assist in the investigation under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.

“Further investigation revealed that no rape occurred, but the victim was indeed molested inside the school restroom,” Alzafny confirmed.
