Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has confirmed that the global passenger processing system used at airports nationwide has been fully restored by the system provider.
In a statement shared on its official social media platforms, MAHB said check-in and boarding operations across all Malaysian airports have returned to normal.
“Airport and airline teams will continue to closely monitor the situation to ensure smooth passenger processing. We thank travellers for their patience and cooperation during the incident,” MAHB said.
Earlier, a temporary outage affecting a global passenger processing system used by multiple airlines worldwide had disrupted check-in and boarding procedures at airports in Malaysia. The issue prompted airlines operating at MAHB-managed airports to implement contingency measures to minimise inconvenience to passengers.
