According to FMT, the convenience store chain said it takes the matter seriously and has already taken internal action while investigations are ongoing.

The company confirmed that the staff member involved has been placed on immediate suspension from duty.

It also stressed that it does not tolerate any form of rude, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour towards customers or members of the public at its outlets.

Management added that further disciplinary action will be taken if necessary once the internal investigation is completed, and urged the public to allow the process to proceed.
