A woman in her 20s was found dead, reportedly after falling from the 28th floor of a condominium yesterday.
Her body was discovered in the condominium’s parking area by a member of the public at around 9 PM.
Southwest District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam, said the woman was five months pregnant and may have recently been left by her partner, but investigations are ongoing. The case has been classified as sudden death (SDR).
The incident went viral on social media, with residents reporting a loud thud before discovering the woman. Photos also circulated online showing her dressed in an anime character, Kurumi Tokisaki outfit prior to the fall.
Fire and Rescue Operations Commander, Muhammad Firdaus Mohamad Saad, said their team was called at 12:43 AM to assist police with site clearance due to the impact of the fall.
Authorities are expected to release further statements as the investigation continues.
