A factory storing plastic emergency reflective equipment in Bukit Putra Budiman, Semenyih, caught fire in the early hours of the morning, with firefighters battling the blaze for over three hours before finally extinguishing it. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis, the department received the distress call at 3:02 AM. A total of 16 firefighters, three fire engines, one water tanker, and an Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) vehicle were dispatched from the Tun Hussein Onn, Seri Kembangan, Kajang, and Pandan Indah stations.
The fire engulfed about 60% of the facility, which housed plastic emergency reflectors used for vehicles. Firefighters managed to bring the fire fully under control by 6:50 AM, and the entire operation concluded at 7:00 AM.
