A man was injured after he became trapped when the car he was driving collided with a trailer at the Pulau Carey Roundabout heading towards Kampung Sawah, Jenjarom, Teluk Panglima Garang on Friday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 2.59pm.
He said four personnel along with a fire engine from the Teluk Panglima Garang Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene, located about 2.1km away.
Firefighters arrived at the location approximately four minutes later and found a man in his 50s trapped inside a Perodua Viva.
“Firefighters carried out rescue work to extricate the victim, who was successfully freed at 3.25pm,” he said in a statement.
The victim sustained injuries and was handed over to Health Ministry personnel for further treatment.
