Police are investigating reports of a foreign couple allegedly engaging in sexual activity at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya.
On Saturday, a post began circulating on social media featuring a still image taken from a video, which appeared to show the couple having sex in the shallow waters at night. The caption claimed the act took place in full view of onlookers and tourists.
The post quickly went viral, sparking a wave of comments from netizens who criticized the couple’s alleged behavior.
Pattaya City Police deputy superintendent Lt Col Arut Sapanon said on Sunday that investigators have yet to confirm whether the incident actually occurred at the reported location. He noted the video only provided a single camera angle, making it difficult to determine the exact time, date, and place of the activity.
The case remains under investigation.
