Four people were injured after their vehicles were hit by a lorry carrying a load of soil near Pekan Kapar along Jalan Meru Tambahan, Kampung Bukit Cerakah, in Klang this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Assistant Director, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said the department received an emergency call regarding the crash at 9:07 a.m.
“Upon receiving the call, a team from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene, located about eight kilometers away, and arrived at 9:16 a.m.,” he said.
The operations commander reported that the accident involved four vehicles — a soil lorry, a garbage truck, and two Perodua Myvi cars.
“Initial investigations found that the crash involved three foreign male victims and a 34-year-old local woman. All sustained injuries in the accident,” Ahmad Mukhlis said.
He added that all victims were removed from their vehicles before the fire department arrived and were later handed over to the Health Ministry for further medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the North Klang District Police Headquarters confirmed the incident and said an official statement will be issued soon.
