A domestic dispute in Sungai Ara turned violent this morning when a man reportedly slashed his wife with a knife before attempting to harm himself.
Police received the emergency call at around 6 a.m., and both were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Southwest District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam, is expected to release an official statement following his visit to the scene.
