A man has sparked public outrage after being caught on video flashing his middle finger during a heated parking dispute in Kepong. The incident, which took place at Jalan Metro Perdana Barat 2, shows the man standing beside another vehicle and making the obscene gesture directly at the driver before calmly returning to his own car, which was reportedly double parked—believed to be the cause of the altercation.
Sentul police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari confirmed a police report has been filed over the incident, which has since gone viral on social media. “Based on the report received, the incident is believed to have stemmed from a vehicle being double parked, which obstructed the complainant’s path,” he said.
The video clip, widely shared online, captures the man confronting the complainant and showing the offensive hand gesture at close range through the driver’s side window. Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the individual involved.
Police have urged the public to stay calm in such situations and to avoid provocation. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to step forward to assist with the investigation.
