A lorry was reported to have caught fire at KM19.9 of the Kuala Lumpur–Karak Expressway near the Gombak Toll Plaza this afternoon.
The incident, which occurred at about 3.25pm, caused disruption to traffic after two entry lanes into the toll plaza, namely lanes B01 and B02, were blocked due to the blaze.
According to information shared by the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM), the fire happened on the stretch before the exit to the toll plaza, along the westbound route from Genting Sempah towards Gombak.
“The left lane is obstructed. Traffic is under control,” LLM said in its update.
So far, there have been no reports of injuries or further details regarding the cause of the fire.
