Three women were injured after part of the ceiling collapsed at a shopping mall in Kuching, Sarawak.
A spokesperson for the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department said the department received a distress call at 9.47pm last night and immediately dispatched personnel to the scene to carry out rescue operations.
Upon arrival, firefighters found three women who had been struck by the falling ceiling. They were subsequently rescued and transported to hospital for further treatment.
The injured victims comprised two employees and one customer.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the ceiling collapse.
