A 21-year-old Miami man has been charged with sexually assaulting an infant, possessing child sexual abuse material, and multiple other related crimes, drawing intense public concern.
The accused, Osher Pittman, faces numerous counts, including Sexual Battery on a Minor by an Adult, Lewd and Lascivious Molestation, Possession of Child Sexual Performance Work, and Sexual Conduct with an Animal or Image.
Case Background and Investigation
According to a report from PEOPLE, the investigation by the Miami Police Department (MPD) began on May 19, 2025. The initial complaint came from an 8-year-old girl who disclosed that Pittman had “inappropriately touched her” on October 1, 2024, at his Miami residence. Pittman was arrested on May 27 of the same year.
The case escalated in August following an online tip alleging the uploading of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Police executed a search warrant on Pittman’s residence and allegedly recovered electronic devices, including a cell phone and a laptop. These devices contained CSAM, including images of children between the ages of two and twelve being sexually abused. MPD Officer Kiara Delva confirmed that Pittman had been uploading the CSAM content to social media platforms.
Horrific Details Emerge
An arrest affidavit details the horrifying findings, stating that “over 100 images of child sexual abuse content were recovered from the data extracted from the defendant’s cell phone, including images of bestiality pornography.”
More recent affidavits show that authorities also viewed Pittman’s cell phone and found four self-recorded videos. These videos, filmed in a bedroom similar to his, depicted the sexual assault of a female infant between two and three months old. The videos were timestamped between February 27 and March 7, 2025.
The infant’s mother stated that she would occasionally leave the baby with Pittman’s mother when she had to go to work. The mother positively identified her daughter in the videos and recognized Pittman’s voice and his bedroom in the recordings, according to the affidavit. Authorities confirmed that the baby is not related to Pittman.
Police have stated that the investigation remains ongoing.
