A 50-year-old man was discovered dead inside a car parked by the roadside on Jalan Ong Kim Wee in Gajah Berang yesterday.
Melaka Tengah police chief, Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit, said authorities were alerted at 3.10pm after receiving a report of a man found unconscious in the vehicle.
“A team from Tengkera police station, along with investigating officers and forensic personnel, was dispatched to the scene for further investigation,” he stated.
A medical officer from Tengkera Health Clinic, who attended the scene, confirmed the man had passed away. The body was subsequently taken to Melaka Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
