Son of Michelin Star Chef Stole RM290k Worth of Crystals and Jellycat Toys

Marco Pierre White Jr has been handed a prison sentence today following a string of burglaries and shoplifting offences.

The Big Brother star appeared at Isleworth Crown Court via video link as the sentence was handed down after admitting to a series of offences earlier this year. The troubled son of the famous Michelin star chef Marco Pierre White had been held in custody on remand after pleading guilty to four counts of burglary and one count of criminal damage in a crime spree across west London and Bath.

Marco Pierre White Jr was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison. During sentencing, Judge Edwards Connell described him as a “prolific acquisitive offender” and spoke of his “wilful” and persistent non-compliance when on suspended sentences.

The court heard that Pierre White Jr broke into a west London gallery, causing £27,000 (≈ RM151,200) worth of damage and stole two fluorite crystal lamp towers worth £13,600 (≈ RM76,160). He also stole £1,500 (≈ RM8,400) worth of Jellycat plush toys after breaking into a shop in Barnes and took £7,775 (≈ RM43,540) worth of natural rock crystal formations during a break-in at a Notting Hill store.

Pierre White Jr would often have a Lime Bike waiting nearby to make his getaway. He also admitted to threatening a female staff member at Aesop in Westbourne Grove while shoplifting £1,331 (≈ RM7,454) of hygiene products.

His barrister, Sean Sullivan, said the offences stemmed from a “long-standing drug addiction” and were compounded after the sudden closure of the treatment centre he was receiving support from.
