The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecast significant weather over the next two days, Monday and Tuesday, particularly affecting several states along the west and southern coasts of Peninsular Malaysia.

MetMalaysia Director-General Dr. Mohd. Hisham Mohd. Anip said the conditions are expected to increase humidity, leading to heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms over an extended period.

“This forecast is based on the latest weather models showing a convergence of westerly and easterly winds across the Peninsula from February 16 to 17,” he explained in a statement today.
